You and your Job
As Data Management Consultant Financial Economic Crime (FEC), you implement Data management for FEC within Rabobank. Together with the Model Owners, Report owners and Data producers you set Data Requirements, define DQ requirements and translate them into automated controls. You are pro-actively taking actions when data quality is below expectations and give advice about the correct use of data in different projects. You educate data model squads on data management and represent FEC towards the Rabobank Global Data Management Office, for instance in project groups. You can speak the language at all levels within the organization (strategic, tactical, operational) and you are able to translate this to solutions and/or into advice for the stakeholders and in close collaboration with your team.
You are very familiar with the latest developments on data management and are eager to help the Tribe FEC Tech to grow to the next level of maturity.
You interact closely with stakeholders to identify regulatory and business requirements. This all with the overall aim to digitize and innovate FEC to protect society, customers and our bank. You are not afraid to work in a highly regulatory environment and you have the creativity to also get things done in such an environment.We would like to receive a motivation showing the required competencies.
Practical Examples
• Work together with Areas and FEC Business Lines to help implement our data management standards and procedures (like data governance, data quality monitoring, aligning data definitions) following our standardized way of working. We work together with the FEC business lines Customer Due Diligence, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions and External Fraud;
• Closely working together with model developers and data engineering squads to get data quality requirements clear, set up data definitions and follow up on and resolve data quality issues;
• Participating in working groups and advising the global data management office and representing FEC.

Data is crucial for good detection within FEC. Therefore we have high data standards. As Data Management Consultant FEC you are responsible for:
• Setting up and operationalizing the data management framework within FEC. Making sure teams within the Areas are working based on the data management standards of the bank. Topics to think about are: Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Quality monitoring & Reporting;
• The identification of data quality monitoring requirements and specifications for new and existing data models and reports;
• The analysis, monitoring and solving of data quality issues in close cooperation with product owners and business analysts.

Chapter Data management FEC consists of 12 highly professional data management consultants and is part of the new Area Data & Insights within Tribe FEC Tech. Data & Insights is the Go To Area for all global FEC Data topics. We work hybrid, with one or two days in the office a week, currently usually on Mondays.

You and your talent
When you recognize yourself in below mentioned skills, you have everything you need to become the new Data Management Consultant FEC at Rabobank:
• Academic (Masters or Bachelor) working and thinking level;
• At least 3 years experience with Data Management, e.g. Data Quality Management, Data Analysis, Data Governance;
• Experience with Data Management at Rabobank or one of its subsidiaries is a plus;
• Strong analytical and consultancy skills;
• Knowledge of and experience with DAMA dimensions;
• Getting the job done mentality and positive attitude;
• Strong collaborator, both inside and outside team with good networking skills. Good communicator and comfortable in building relationships;
• Sharing knowledge and proactively helping the team members where necessary to get the job done;
• Eager to learn new things and to experiment;
• Keen on new developments in data and digitalization within the financial sector;
• Enthusiasm for Financial Economic Crime topics;
• Experience in agile way of working (scrum);
• CDMP certification at associate level is a plus.
Additional information:
• All departments are working hybrid, in terms of Rabobank @anywhere policy;
• Suppliers must be aware of the laws and regulations regarding employment conditions and Rabobank’s Collective Labour Agreement. This assignment is placed in scale 9;
