As Senior Business Controller you will challenge the performance of the Housing department within the Products domain
You and your job
In the role of business controller for the Chief Products Officer (CPO) domain you play an essential role in helping to drive the efficiency of end-to-end customer and employee journeys and improve the delivery performance within the Retail NL domain. Your proactive and forward-looking analysis leads to new decision making enabling significant improvement in business results. You achieve this by providing new insights and acting as sparring partner with various stakeholders. In your role you challenge when necessary and contribute with impact!.
The CPO domain is responsible for the delivery of all Rabobank products and client journeys and takes care of the right balance in quality and cost of delivery. The CPO domain is organized in several departments (“tribes”) and prioritizes IT and operational activities. Rabobank has 8 separate tribes including Business Lending, Housing and Payments & Savings. We work in an Agile way of working (we call this Simplify@Scale). There are 1,200 colleagues related to CPO
Top 3 responsibilities
• Acting as a trusted advisor for Tribe Housing on (non)-financial and governance matters. Challenging senior management in strategic decision making and advising on business (cases);
• Coordinating the Mid Term Planning process for Tribe Housing 2026-2030. Working together with IT control to ensuring solid insights in the financial commitments and interdependencies to support the business in balancing Business, Tech and Risk priorities;
• Take ownership on business control activities for CPO domain, including monthly performance reporting and supporting management in financial & KPI steering. On a quarterly basis coordinate the update of the business cases within the tribe.

In this role you work closely with controllers of segment private customers, operations and IT to support the management of the value chain Housing.

You and your talent
Customer focus, communication power, personal development and realizing results are clearly essential for the role of Senior Business Controller. In addition, it's important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below:
• Your Dutch language skills (spoken in the Netherlands) are excellent, both in speaking and in writing;
• You have a completed university education, or higher, with a numerical or strategic focus;
• You have experience in a business control role as part of the business management team;
• You are able to support and challenge management about (complex) control activities across the entire tribe;
• You have a deep understanding of the product within the bank, or the will and affinity to acquire that knowledge;
• You have experience with Simply@Scale (Agile) and preferably understanding or experience with the way of working within IT;
• You are experienced in relevant RaboSkills, such as Change agility, Storytelling and Professional Collaboration.

• Er wordt hybride gewerkt, volgens het Rabobank @anywhere principe;
• Leveranciers van kandidaten behoren op de hoogte te zijn van de geldende wet- en regelgeving op het gebied van arbeidsvoorwaarden en de (Rabobank) cao. Deze inzet valt in schaal 10 van de Rabobank cao;
