We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Platform Engineer with a strong background in Azure data services, data security, and automation scripting. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable data solutions that align with business needs and compliance standards. You will also leverage Power BI to create insightful dashboards and reports that help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
Additionally this role involves working with Microsoft Purview to support eDiscovery, Data Loss Prevention, Data Lifecycle management and Insider Risk.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory;
• Develop and optimize our complex SQL Datawarehouse for data transformation and analysis;
• Automate tasks and workflows using PowerShell or other scripting languages;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet business and compliance needs;
• Collaborate with security teams to address Insider Risk and Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification and Insider Risk requirements;
• Collaborate with Global Privacy Office on Data Lifecycle Management;
• Collaborate with our global Legal department on Purview eDiscovery;
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and documentation;
• Write clear and concise technical documentation for internal use;
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and other Azure data services;
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting (or similar scripting languages);
• Understanding of Data Protection, eDiscovery tand Insider Risk Management tools in Microsoft 365;
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills;
• Strong communication skills and a team player mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft certifications;
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare);
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.We would like to receive a motivation showing the required competencies.
Additional information:
• All departments are working hybrid, in terms of Rabobank @anywhere policy;
