About the Role
Do you want to contribute to the clean energy transition and make a real impact through data?
Vattenfall is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to strengthen our team. You will join an agile SCRUM team working on complex data challenges, building scalable solutions that directly support the development of wind energy.
What you will do

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for real-time and historical wind turbine data.

Ensure data can be shared securely and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.

Work with Kubernetes, Python, and MQTT to develop robust, scalable data flows.

Build and maintain APIs and Python dashboards.

Integrate live, high-frequency, and scientific data from wind assets.
What you bring
-
At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

Excellent knowledge of Python, including DevOps best practices (CI/CD, Git).

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience with Cloud services (preferably Azure: Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Data Factory).

Experience with Databricks.

Hands-on experience with real-time messaging technologies such as MQTT or similar.

Strong experience in building and consuming APIs.

Familiarity with the Agile methodology.

Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
