Are you a driven graduate with a passion for asset management and strategic execution? Do you want to help shape the future of pension investments in the Netherlands while working closely with senior leadership? APG Asset Management is looking for a Junior Business Manager to support the COO Management Team and contribute to organization-wide strategic initiativesand projects.

Your Responsibilities
As a Junior Business Manager within the COO domain of APG Asset Management, you will contribute to strategic, tactical, and operational initiatives that support an efficient and future-proof organization. You will work closely with the COO Management Team and act as a connecting link between various departments within the AM value chain. You will be involved in diverse projects and initiatives that shape the direction and development of our organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the COO Management Team in strategic planning, decision-making, and implementation of key initiatives.
Coordinating and contributing to projects across operations, IT, data, and process optimization.
Identifying and initiating improvements in daily operations and organizational effectiveness.
Translating market developments, regulatory changes, and client needs into actionable improvement opportunities.
Improving processes and systems within Asset Management.
Preparing reports, presentations, and decision-making documents for the COO Management Team.
Contributing to the development and implementation of the COO operating model.

Additionally

A Master’s degree in preferably business administration, economics, or a related field.
0 to 3 years of work experience, preferably in an operational or project-based environment.
Excellent verbal / presentation / writing skills in English (English is APG AM’s default language).
Knowledge about Agile methodology is preferred.
