As our Infrastructure Architect, you will join the Architecture Team to define the vision and target architecture for our on-premise landscape. You are responsible for ensuring our infrastructure is robust, highly available, and perfectly aligned with the broader Enterprise Architecture.
Unlike a generalist role, your focus will be on the 'Foundational Layer': ensuring our managed data centers and cloud services provide the performance and resilience required for mission-critical financial services.
What you'll do:
* Vision & Strategy: Develop and maintain the Infrastructure Domain Vision and Target Architecture in alignment with Enterprise Architecture.
* BCDR & Resilience: Design and safeguard Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategies to guarantee maximum availability and scalability.
* Architectural Design: Create high-level designs (HLD) for our on-premise setup, focusing on the synergy between our hardware, managed data center environments, and platform requirements.
* Architecture process: own the end-to-end infrastructure architecture process, including intake, decision-making, design review, and handover to delivery and operations.
* Standards & Frameworks: Utilize TOGAF and ArchiMate to document and communicate architectural blueprints.
* Compliance & Security: Translate complex regulatory requirements (security, privacy, and financial audits) into concrete technical infrastructure standards.
* Collaboration: Act as the lead technical authority within the architecture team, bridging the gap between hardware management and operational excellence. You will work in close collaboration with the delivery teams within IT Infrastructure.
What You Bring:
* Experience: Proven track record as an Infrastructure Architect or Senior Engineer in large-scale, high-availability environments.
* On-Premise Expertise: Deep knowledge of physical and virtualized infrastructure, storage, and networking (Cloud experience is not required for this role).
* BCDR Specialist: Expert-level understanding of backup, recovery, and failover mechanisms in a multi-data center setup.
* Frameworks: Proficiency in TOGAF and ArchiMate is highly preferred.
* Analytical Mindset: You can translate business needs into a clear, long-term technical roadmap.
* Communication: Fluent in English (and preferably Dutch), with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
Stater is okay with hybrid working, roughly 2 days at the office

Aanvullende informatie:
• De kandidaat moet binnen een straal van 1 uur reistijd van kantoor wonen;
• Leveranciers van kandidaten behoren op de hoogte te zijn van de geldende wet- en regelgeving op het gebied van arbeidsvoorwaarden en de (Stater) cao. Deze inzet valt in schaal 22 van de Stater cao;
• Wij ontvangen graag de persoonlijke motivatie en het CV in het Nederlands;
• Pre-employmentscreening: Als de kandidaat mag starten bij de klant, dan zal er een pre-employmentscreening plaatsvinden. Wij sturen u op dat moment de daarvoor benodigde documenten toe. Uw kandidaat mag pas starten na afronding van de pre-employmentscreening;
• De kandidaat beschikt over een legitimatiebewijs (een paspoort of identiteitskaart), welke bij intake én op de startdatum van het contract van de kandidaat geldig is en ter controle kan worden overlegd;
• De kandidaat mag op maximaal één aanvraag tegelijkertijd aangeboden worden. Dit betekent dat de kandidaat gedurende de exclusiviteitsperiode (4 werkdagen) alleen bij - Stater is aangeboden;
• Daarnaast is het van belang dat de kandidaat beschikbaar is voor de hele gevraagde periode in de aanvraag;
