Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to strengthen the visibility, consistency, and adoption of the Chief Architecture & Engineering Office (CAEO) portfolio across Rabobank. The role ensures that the department’s priorities, standards, learning initiatives, and guidance are translated into clear communication, effective stakeholder engagement, and coordinated execution, thereby supporting CAEO’s mission across subjects such as Sustainable IT, Learning & Development for engineering, architecture & engineering policies and procedures, and enterprise architecture guidance.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain a department-wide communication and engagement approach for CAEO.
· Translate departmental strategy, priorities, roadmaps, standards, and initiatives into clear and consistent messages for relevant target groups.
· Ensure coherent positioning of CAEO topics across internal and, where relevant, external communication channels.
· Support the department in strengthening awareness, understanding, and adoption of key CAEO themes, including Sustainable IT, Learning & Development for engineering, architecture & engineering policies and procedures, and enterprise architecture guidance.
Internal Responsibilities

· Increase the visibility of CAEO priorities and services within CITO and, where relevant, across the wider bank.
· Support the adoption of departmental guidance, standards, procedures, and learning offerings by making them accessible, understandable, and relevant to stakeholders.
· Connect CAEO initiatives to broader bank-wide priorities, strategic themes, and transformation agendas.
Content and Communication Governance
· Coordinate internal communication materials, including department pages, presentations, updates, event materials, and stakeholder-facing content.
· Ensure that content developed within CAEO reaches the right audiences at the right time through the appropriate channels.
· Safeguard consistency in tone, messaging, timing, and positioning across the department’s portfolio.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Participate in and contribute to relevant internal forums, communities, and cross-functional consultations.
· Support the maintenance of a stakeholder landscape and establish strong working relationships with key partners, including:
o Business managers and department leadership

· Support the coordination of learning-related plans and engagement activities for departmental themes, including planning, stakeholder alignment, follow-up, and visibility.
· Ensure coherence across learning-related communication and engagement efforts, while content ownership remains with the relevant subject-matter experts.

· Support and coordinate department-wide events, knowledge sessions, communities, campaigns, and roadshows.
· Help ensure that CAEO themes are structurally represented on relevant internal agendas and platforms.
External Responsibilities
