Important:

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to support the transition of AI-driven use cases from exploration into the build and test phase, with a strong focus on prompt engineering and business readiness.

The approach and solution direction have already been validated. The focus now is on building, refining, and operationalizing the solution so it becomes production-ready (or business-ready in the case of prompt-driven solutions).

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business, technology, and risk/compliance, ensuring that prompts, processes, and documentation are mature, scalable, and ready for implementation and adoption.

Key Responsibilities
• Prompt Engineering & Operationalization;
• Develop, refine, and optimize prompts to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs aligned with business needs;
• Improve and standardize prompt design processes, guidelines, and lifecycle management;
• Work closely with business users to embed prompting into daily workflows and ensure usability and adoption;
• Support testing and iteration of prompts during the build and test phase.

Business Analysis & Implementation Support
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to refine requirements and validate implementation details;
• Translate validated concepts into detailed requirements, user scenarios, and acceptance criteria;
• Support process design and ensure alignment with target operating models.

Build & Test Phase Support
• Support the transition from validated use case to implementation by detailing functional and non-functional requirements;
• Collaborate with technical teams on data, integration points, and system constraints;
• Help structure and execute testing (including UAT), ensuring outputs meet business expectations.

Documentation & Governance
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including:
• Requirements, process flows, and user journeys;
• Prompt design and usage guidelines;
• Data usage and functional specifications;
• Documentation for model governance, risk, compliance, privacy, and security;
• Ensure alignment with Responsible AI principles and internal governance frameworks.

Handover
• Support a structured and complete handover into production and business-as-usual operations.

What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business-related field;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in IT or data-driven environments;
• Experience with Data & AI solutions, ideally including GenAI and prompt-based use cases;
• Strong experience in implementation-focused analysis, moving from concept to build and test.
Proven experience in:
• Requirements engineering and documentation;
• Process design and operationalization;
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder alignment;
• Experience working with risk, compliance, security, and architecture stakeholders;
• Familiarity with model governance, Responsible AI, and regulatory requirements is a strong plus;
• Good understanding of IT landscapes, data flows, and integration challenges;
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills;
• Comfortable working in an international environment.

Additional information:
• All departments are working hybrid, in terms of Rabobank @anywhere policy;
• Due to the congestion at the parking lot Rabobank location Croeselaan in Utrecht, a new parking policy will be introduced as of April 2026. From Monday through Thursday, external staff will no longer be able to park at the Croeselaan. Parking for external staff will remain permitted on Fridays only;
• ⁠Please note: midlance constructions are not allowed according to Rabobank policy. Do not offer candidates via this construction. This will be investigated during the screening;
• Suppliers must be aware of the laws and regulations regarding employment conditions and Rabobank’s Collective Labour Agreement. This assignment is placed in scale 9;
