You & your role
As the data issue coordinator you have a role in resolving data quality issues and in data management projects. You are key in ensuring that data meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability and compliance. This means that you take ownership of data issues. You coordinate and prioritise the issue backlog, you align with stakeholders to examine root causes and by guiding them through the process of resolving these issues themselves. You keep stakeholders aligned and make connections between issues to drive structural improvements.

Additionally, you work on data implementation projects, by being a trusted partner for data producers, providers, and consumers. With your seniority, you take ownership of cross‑domain data issues, guide colleagues in best practices, and proactively drive improvements in both processes and data governance. For example, you will work on simplifying the data issue guidance to increase the number of data issues raised by our tribes. You are part of the Data Management Finance & Risk, directly helping the tribes in the Finance & Risk Domain.

Examples of projects and activities
- You will align data producers with the reporting team, to ensure that a data issue that affected our annual report is solved timely;
You will work on simplifying our data issue guidance and processes, to increase the quality of the data issues raised by our tribes and speed up their solution;
- You will identify overarching problems, clustering several of your own issues and those of your colleagues into one, manageable package;
- You will design and implement a process flow, to improve the alignment between data quality monitoring and data issue management;
- You will proactively instigate data management process improvements, planning and coordinating their implementation with a cross functional team.

Coordinating data issues, resulting in improved data quality: analyse data issues, identify the correct issue owner within the bank, and ensure that all involved parties know the role they need to play to successfully resolve the issue.
Engage stakeholders: activate people throughout the bank, working together to resolve issues within the existing guidance and timelines. For improvement projects, ensure buy-in of relevant stakeholders by providing a clear purpose and roadmap.
Foster collaboration to achieve structural improvements: Act as the linking pin within Finance and Risk, supporting the tribes to get in control of data management. For bank-wide improvement projects, collaborate with stakeholders on all levels to implement structural improvements in both processes and systems.

You & your talent
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (HBO or WO) with at least 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Excellent written and verbal communicative skills, both towards your own team and your external stakeholders. You speak fluent English and you understand Dutch;
- A focus on problem solving, with an analytical mindset, analysing data issues to find the root cause, as well as uncovering possible improvements in complex processes. Identify patterns to uncover underlying problems across issues and domains, increasing efficiency;
- The capability to keep an eye on the bigger picture, bridging the gap between stakeholders in different parts of the bank. You have experience with managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously and guiding projects to a successful end;
- Proactive and independent, identifying possible improvements in Rabobank’s data quality and data management processes;
- Experience in data management, preferably with experience in DAMA DMBoK;
- Affinity with data and finance is required, knowledge on Finance and Risk reporting and/or modelling is a plus;
- A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) is a plus.

Additional information:
- All departments are working hybrid, in terms of Rabobank @anywhere policy;
- Due to the congestion at the parking lot Rabobank location Croeselaan in Utrecht, a new parking policy will be introduced as of April 2026. From Monday through Thursday, external staff will no longer be able to park at the Croeselaan. Parking for external staff will remain permitted on Fridays only;
- ⁠Please note: midlance constructions are not allowed according to Rabobank policy. Do not offer candidates via this construction. This will be investigated during the screening;
- Suppliers must be aware of the laws and regulations regarding employment conditions and Rabobank’s Collective Labour Agreement. This assignment is placed in scale X;
- We would like to receive the personal motivation of the candidate and CV in English;
- A candidate should be submitted exclusively to – Rabobank during the exclusivity period of 4 business days on one request;
- Furthermore, the candidate has to be available throughout the entire duration of the assignment;
- All submitted candidates must be in possession of a valid Passport or ID card, which must be taken along to the interview and at the start of the assignment;
