Werkzaamheden

Collect scope and assumptions with the project team
Prepare the first ROM estimate (range, e.g. ±30–40%)
Simple cashflow per year/quarter
Short cost summary for the Gate 1 decision (1–2 pages)
Refine WBS and quantities based on concept/pre-engineering
Update unit rates (internal + quotes/benchmarks)
Produce a Class 3 estimate, cost basis document (assumptions, indices, currency)
Create the first cost risk register with probabilistic contingency
Extract detailed quantities from drawings and specifications
Incorporate quotes/contract prices into the estimate
Propose final project budget + contingency

Eindresultaten

Per maand:

Collect actuals and commitments
Determine progress per WBS/contract and update VOWD
Update forecast (ETC/EAC) and analyse variants/trends
Send monthly cost report to PM / RWE board

Complete cost estimate by 02-06-2027

Cost closure + final Outage cost by 31-08-2027
