For APG, is looking for a DevOps Engineer Integration.

Note: 

• This role is for 36-40 hours per week.
• The role falls in scale 10.

The rate depends on the candidate’s knowledge and expertise. The rate for this role ranges between €105 and €120.

The work location can be either Amsterdam or Heerlen. It won’t be necessary to work from the office every week, but the candidate should be willing to travel to Heerlen and Amsterdam occasionally.

DevOps Engineer Integration

Your Role 

The Enablement department within APG Asset Management’s COO domain is dedicated to driving the organization’s purpose and vision. As a key contributor to the strategic pillars of Digitalization and People & Culture, Enablement aims to deliver seamless, coherent, and sustainable IT experiences. To further this mission, we are seeking a skilled Integration DevOps Engineer to join our Application Integration team. 

In this role, your primary focus will be on designing, developing and implementing scalable and secure integration solutions within a highly complex and diverse integration landscape.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure integration solutions aligned with business, technical, and architectural requirements, leveraging technologies like TIBCO EMS/BW and SSIS. 
• Collaborate with application teams and solution architects and enterprise architects to ensure seamless integration solutions, fostering both self-service and managed service patterns. 
• Bridging the gap between business and IT and translating business needs and requirements into working integration solutions.  
• Applying integration principles and guidelines and proposing improvements when you see the opportunity. 
• Within a team and independently, you are initiating, creating, developing and testing the integration solutions, that must land within our application integration environment based upon the TIBCO BW 5/6, EMS stack. 
• Deliver the solution within the CI/CD delivery pipeline and attain high-quality standards using different frameworks 
• Contributing actively to the Agile ceremonies 
• Contributing to the architecture and the future vision and roadmap of our next generation cloud enabled integration platform, utilizing your expertise in various cloud technologies such as such TIBCO Cloud based solutions, cloud-based messaging and API management, Azure Cloud based solutions (e.g. Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Data Factory,…), ELK monitoring and visualization, and streaming platforms like Apache Kafka and Pulsar. 
• Translating your knowledge of common architecture styles (e.g. event-driven, data-driven, cloud, microservices, SOA) into practical architecture improvements to take the integration domain to the next level. 

What We’re Looking For 

As a DevOps Engineer Integration, you excel in problem-solving and thrive in a service-oriented environment. You are proactive, take ownership, and balance a pragmatic approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. You are eager to further develop or broaden your T-shaped skillset. 

Requirements: 

• A master’s degree, preferably in business administration, information science or a comparable qualification, or experience at a working level comparable to a master’s level; 
• Expert knowledge and experience with the development aspects of real-time messaging integration frameworks and setups, on premise and in the cloud.  
• Expert knowledge and experience with technology stacks of Tibco. Main focus on BW5, EMS. Additional expertise in TIBCO Cloud based solutions like BW6 and cloud-based messaging and API management, Azure Cloud based solutions (e.g. Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Data Factory) is a plus. 
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, especially Azure DevOps, Git, and automated deployment/testing pipelines. 
• Knowledge of frontend/backend stacks (such as Angular, NodeJS), NoSQL solutions, ELK monitoring and visualization and streaming platforms like Apache Kafka and Pulsar is a plus. 
• Familiarity with ETL frameworks like SSIS, ADF, and containerized environments. 
• Highly developed communication skills in English and experience with Agile ways of working.  
• Preferably, knowledge of and experience in Asset Management.
