Imagine… being an essential part of one of the biggest corporate infrastructures in the Netherlands. Rabobank’s IT Infrastructure is organized regionally with the main regional Centers located in Boxtel, Best, London, Sydney and New York. Although IT Infrastructure has a global focus, it uses regional organizations to service the business locally. As a Windows Dev/Ops Engineer focusing on Automation and Security, you are the central link between Solution Engineer/Architecture teams and the Delivery (Operations) Teams for automating orderable and secure Infrastructure. The job is part of the Global Windows Engineering team which is situated in Utrecht and London.
The primary responsibility will be to design and build automated solutions within the team and to provide proposed architectural changes to the Windows Operating System to meet the demands of our customers.
A typical day starts with a Daily Scrum working from home or the office, followed by engineering automated OS delivery, developing solutions, automated security challenges, problem solving OS related tasks and delivering product enhancements using innovation.
Your technology stack consists of
Sound knowledge
• Thorough understanding of the Microsoft Windows Operating System
• Multiple years’ experience in a large sized (5000+ server) complex infrastructure environment
• Automate your way out of everything
• Experience with Ansible, preferable Ansible Automation Platform or Tower
• Experience with Security tooling preferably CyberArk
• Strong PowerShell scripting
• Knowledge and experience with scrum / agile working
• You are resourceful, flexible, analytically strong and when needed critical
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• High proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English
In addition, it's important that you are familiar with everything in the checklist below:
• Experience with GIT, Automated testing
• Experience with cloud management solutions - vRealize, Azure products, CI/CD
• Continuous Configuration Automation and Desired State Configuration
• Active Directory
• Design, engineer and create implementation strategies for Windows products
• Produce design and operational documentation to a high standard
• Actively use new technology to enable Rabobank to innovate, integrate and reduce costs
• Third-line support for Windows products and services

Problem solving skills, Communication skills, delivering results and innovation are clearly essential for the role of Platforms Windows Dev/Ops Engineer. Knowledge of ITIL and Agile Scrum and a flexible setting.
