In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, the Manager Information Security Officers plays a crucial strategic role within Rabobank. You lead a team of professional Information Security Officers and ensure that the organisation remains secure, compliant, and future ready.

Making a difference
As Manager Information Security Officers, you bring vision, structure, and coordination to our security efforts across the bank. You ensure your team delivers high quality advice, manages security risks, and supports the organisation in meeting internal and external security requirements. You guide your team in working strategically with tech domains. You act as a trusted advisor at management level, ensuring a consistent and independent security perspective across the organisation.

Your team, consisting of 19 Information Security Officers, is the point of contact for advice and support on Information Security. The team has a critical role in safeguarding the bank’s information assets, by ensuring a proper implementation of the security designs, identifying and mitigating risks, and understanding compliance with industry standards & Rabobank security framework. The Information Security Officers serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and advise and performing security assessments of high risk applications.

Your responsibilitie
As Manager Information Security Officers you can help to bring change by for instance:
Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Information Security Officers;
• Create clarity, focus, and prioritisation across activities, ensuring alignment with organisational needs;
• Translate strategic security objectives into concrete team goals and a clear roadmap;
• Foster an environment of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Direction & Oversight
• Monitor security developments, identify trends, and anticipate future risks;
• Ensure a consistent and independent security perspective across domains;
• Oversee timely execution of security assessments;
• Safeguard adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements and escalate when necessary.

Security Management
• Work closely with senior management to align security initiatives with business priorities;
• Identify overarching risks and steer from a broad perspective;
• Make informed decisions on prioritisation, mitigation, and long-term‑term planning;
• Ensure preventive measures and security controls are implemented in time effectively across the organisation;
• Implement Security Chapter procedures in both the CISO Office and Tech domains.

With you
It's important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:
• Academic working and thinking level (WO);
• Strong coaching, team building and leadership skills;
• Expertise in Information Security, including CISSP/CISM certifications;
• Proven experience in IT Risk Management and Information Security within an international environment;
• Track record of managing senior stakeholders and advising at C‑level;
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and critical‑thinking skills.

Additional information:
• All departments are working hybrid, in terms of Rabobank @anywhere policy;
• Suppliers must be aware of the laws and regulations regarding employment conditions and Rabobank’s Collective Labour Agreement. This assignment is placed in scale SK A;
• We would like to receive the personal motivation of the candidate and CV in English;
• Due to changing laws and regulations, this assignment is NOT suitable for the deployment of a self-employed professional. Naturally, we are happy to answer any questions;
• A candidate should be submitted exclusively to – Rabobank during the exclusivity period of 4 business days on one request;
• Furthermore, the candidate has to be available throughout the entire duration of the assignment;
