You are hired tomorrow to help operationalize our Business Resilience Framework under Wwke and ISO 22301. What is your very first move and why?

Purpose: Support the Transition Manager Resilience, Crisis Management & BCM in designing and operationalizing a Business Resilience Framework, launching a new first line resilience department under the COO domain with bank wide reach. This hands on expert role will operationalize BCM, crisis management, and resilience in day to day operations, ensuring full compliance with ISO 22301, DORA, NIS2, and the upcoming Wwke/CER Directive.

Key responsibilities that you will support on:
• Framework Design: Create a robust Business Resilience Framework, defining governance structures, standards, and charters. Ensure alignment and interoperability between ISO 22301, DORA, NIS2, and Wwke/CER Directive obligations;
• BCM Expertise: Develop repeatable, standardized ISO 22301 based methodologies. Launch regular exercising cycles, invoking continuous improvement. Align risk assessments with Wwke timelines;
• Crisis Management: Consolidate and simplify policies, procedures, and playbooks. Ensure readiness through drills and clear escalation paths across all domains;
• Resilience Embedding: Design a professional training program and integrate resilience objectives into operational delivery bank-wide;
• Regulatory Alignment: Develop integrated compliance pathways for e.g. DORA, NIS2, Wwke. Facilitate real-time readiness for Wwke care and reporting duty requirements;
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with COO leadership, business units, and Project Resilience to ensure alignment and adoption across the enterprise.

Profile:
• Proven track record in setting up resilience functions at large corporates and/or financial institutions;
• Expert knowledge of e.g. ISO 22301, crisis management, and EU resilience frameworks (DORA, NIS2, Wwke/CER);
• Hands-on delivery capability: able to produce frameworks, templates, governance models, and training content – in addition to advise;
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in complex, multi-entity environments;
• Familiarity with incident-reporting protocols and timelines per Wwke/CER.We would like to receive a motivation showing the required competencies.

• All departments are working hybrid, in terms of Rabobank @anywhere policy;
