Job Description

As a Part-time Transaction Processing officer, you can make a difference by working collaboratively to accomplish and execute the daily tasks while gaining an understanding of the “big picture” and adhering to established quality control and procedures.
You and your job
Your primary focus will be working collaboratively to execute daily settlements while gaining an understanding of the “big picture’ and adhering to established quality control measures and procedures. In this role you will be working within a specialized team ensuring timely, controlled and accurate settlements according to market standards and within the global market deadlines. The team is also responsible for timely processing of Fees & Rebates and brokerage.

• Ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory reporting requirements;
• Accurate and timely settlements;
• Informing the Front Office of trade statuses.

• 26 of hours per week;
• 2-3 eveningshifts a week (until 22:00/23:00) - support New York and Brazil branches;

Our Department
Financial Markets Services (FMS) is part of Operations Wholesale Rural. Operating from our head office in Utrecht, FMS supports all main Rabobank Wholesale Rural and offices globally. We are the service provider to Markets and Treasury. The services provided include Transaction Processing, Corporate Actions, Confirmations, Transaction Reporting, Collateral Management, and Investigations. The department focuses on managing a highly efficient process flow whilst managing and minimizing operational risks, delivering excellent service to our clients. By embracing the Lean methodology, we ensure continuous improvement and efficiency in all our processes. The department has a well-established and strong position within Operations Wholesale Rural.

You and your talent
• Student studying either Bachelor or Master Economics, Finance or Law;
• Have excellent command of Dutch and English in both speaking and writing;
• Proactive attitude towards tackling issues and solving breaks;
• Strong communication and presentation skills;
• Team player with flexible skills;
• Strong numeracy/analytical skills, including the ability to work with figures, charts and graphs;
• Competency in Microsoft Office products, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
• Resilience, able to perform effectively under time pressure, when facing setbacks;
• Preferably someone who lives in or near the city of Utrecht (due to travel time in the evenings);
• Affinity with working with a variety of systems simultaneously.

• All departments are working hybrid, in terms of Rabobank @anywhere policy;
